Membership

The Royal Academy Schools Alumni (RASA), formerly known as the Reynolds Club, has been in existence for more than 50 years. It provides a means of communication for all former and current students of the Schools.

  • Life drawing classes in the Schools on Mondays during term-time 5.30-7.30pm
  • Concession of 10% discount at RA Framing
  • Reduced rate for subscription to RA Magazine (£11.20 pa)
  • 10% discount at Green and Stone (Suppliers of Art Materials) in the Kings Road
  • 15% discount at Bird & Davis Ltd (also in School’s shop, term-time 10 am to 11 30 am)
  • Our annual newsletter, plus regular updates with articles and news about former students, news from the Schools, opportunities and exhibitions (have your say, we welcome contributions)
  • Events throughout the year including talks, early morning viewings, invitations to private views, projects, visits and reunions
  • Opportunities to submit work for exhibitions organized by RASA in the UK and abroad

How to Join

Current students and new graduates (up to 18 months after graduation) are automatically members.

If you are an ex-student of the Royal Academy Schools and you wish to join RASA or renew your membership, please print out the membership form (pdf) and return it to the RASA office by post, including payment for the first year. If you’d also like to pay for subsequent years please fill out and include the standing order mandate (pdf).

How much it costs

Membership is free to current students and new graduates, other ex-students can join for £25 pounds a year. The membership year runs from January to the end of December.
